Kerala State Drugs and Pharmaceuticals Limited (KSDP) is a public sector enterprise established in 1974 under the Government of Kerala. It is headquartered in Kalavoor, Alappuzha, and is primarily engaged in the manufacture of essential and life-saving medicines. KSDP plays a vital role in supportingthestate’s publichealthcaresystembysupplying high-qualitygeneric medicines to government hospitals and health institutions, mainly through Kerala Medical Services Corporation (KMSCL). With WHO-GMP certification, KSDP ensures that its products meet international quality standards. The organization also contributes to various government health initiatives and exports medicines under specific programs, aiming to make healthcare more accessible and affordable.
As Kerala is a leading State in Public Health Services, we have been under constant pressure to achieve the best of Quality Standards. The development work of new generation drugs is in progress. Now the Company is a major supplier of Quality drugs to Kerala State Medical Service Corporation (KMSCL), Thiruvananthapuram.WithoutanycompromiseinQuality,KSDPLTD.isshielding itself from the globalization threats and venturing in to commercial trade operations.
